Ground Cords

ESD Ground Cords are wires used to connect Anti-Static Products to Ground in order to eliminate static charges on the surfaces.

ESD Ground Cords are commonly called Common Point Grounds and are made from durable wire used to connect items to the ground in order to eliminate static electricity.  Grounds include Table mat Grounds, Floor Mat Grounds, Coil Cords and can be up to 20ft long. They are used with ESD products such as table mats, floor mats, carts, shelf liners, workstation covers, wrist straps and other items that require grounding. Grounding:  The cords are hardwired to Earth Ground, which in most applications they are connected to the center screw of an outlet in order to connect to the electrical ground of a building. It can also be connected to other ground points in the field, such as large metal objects, piping, or building infrastructure. Common point grounds can be used to connect coil cords to a mat via the banana jacks, the ground cord to the mat via snap, and connect the mat to ground.
