BFN Series Ionizer Troubleshooting:  

Safety switches cutting off the power to the ionizer.

The BFN ionizers are equipped with safety switches under both the front and back fan guards that cut power to the ionizer when the guards are removed during service and repair.  Each guard has a small post that presses the switch.  All of the safety switches must be pressed for the ionizer to receive power and operate. A common issue is when the guards are on the ionizer but are not seated properly.

Fuse Issues

The BFN ionizers are equipped with a fuse located in the power cord inlet.  If the ionizer does not have power, it is possible that the fuse has blown. See below on how to check your BFN fuses:
