The OCT300 Outlet Circuit Tester is designed to detect the most common wiring problems in standard receptacles.

Simply plug in the OCT300 Outlet Circuit Tester and watch red and amber indicators to tester detect faulty wiring in a three wire receptacle. Please note: the outlet circuit tester will not indicate the quality of ground, multiple hot wires, combinations of defects, reversal of grounded and grounding conductors.

Conditions indicated:

  • Correct wiring
  • Open ground
  • Reverse polarity
  • Open hot
  • Open neutral
  • Hot/Ground reversed
